Dear Friends:
The office of od180 will be closed from Monday 11 June through Monday 25 June. During that time, I will be unable to respond to voicemail and e-mail but will certainly do so as soon as possible upon my return. It’s summer break! I hope that all of you will have your own opportunity for rest and refreshment this summer. We all need such times – partly to catch up with ourselves, partly to replenish our creativity and restore our concentration…and (truth be told) partly to let our colleagues have a break from us! If you have some summer reading time, I do have a recommendation. Pick up a copy of Change the World – How Ordinary People Can Accomplish Extraordinary Results by Robert Quinn. I assure you that it will not be too dry for the cabin porch or ocean beach or wherever you see fit to get away. He writes in a very engaging style. (For me, he was as much inspirational as instructive.) And his central thesis is just what the title implies. All of us have the potential to accomplish great things … We just need to begin with ourselves. Meanwhile, I welcome your suggestions, as always, about future topics for my articles. And remember too that your inquiries and referrals are always deeply appreciated. Peace, David |
